REllo by MBH&Co.

Google review replies for restaurants.

Diners read your replies while they decide where to eat tonight. REllo answers every review, good or bad, in the voice of your restaurant, so the owner always looks present.

Why replies matter for restaurants

Reviews are the menu before the menu

A guest choosing between two places on the same street reads the newest reviews first, and the replies under them. A thoughtful reply to a complaint often does more than five more stars.

Volume is the problem

A busy restaurant can collect dozens of reviews a week. Answering each one after close is the job that never gets done, and an unanswered page reads as nobody listening.

Complaints are public service recovery

Cold food, a long wait, a wrong order. The reply is not for the reviewer alone. It shows every future guest how you handle a bad night.

What a REllo reply looks like

★★★★★
The butter chicken was incredible and our server Marco was so attentive. Perfect anniversary dinner.
Priya S.
Reply from the owner

Priya, happy anniversary, and thank you for celebrating with us. We will pass your kind words to Marco and the kitchen. We hope to see you both again soon.

Ordered for pickup, waited 35 minutes past the quoted time and the fries were cold.
Tom R.
Reply from the owner

Tom, we are sorry. A 35-minute wait past the time we quoted is not acceptable, and cold fries make it worse. We have raised it with the team running pickup. Please ask for the manager on your next visit so we can make it right.

How we reply for restaurants

  • Thank people by name and mention the dish or the server they named. It proves a person read it.
  • Never argue about a wait time or a bill in public. Acknowledge, apologise once, and move the detail offline.
  • Do not offer free meals in a public reply. It invites copycat complaints. Invite them to speak with the manager instead.
  • Food safety claims, such as illness or allergens, are answered only after the owner has seen them.

Questions restaurants ask

Should a restaurant reply to every Google review?

Yes, including short five-star ratings. Google says replying shows customers you value their feedback, and a page where every review has an answer reads as a restaurant that is paying attention.

How do you handle a review that mentions food poisoning?

We do not post anything until you have seen it. Health claims need the owner, and sometimes a lawyer, before any public reply.

Can you reply in the style of our restaurant?

Yes. A neighbourhood pizzeria and a tasting-menu restaurant should not sound the same, and you choose the tone at setup.

Do you need my Google password?

No. You add REllo as a manager on your Google Business Profile, which is the standard way Google lets an owner give access. You stay the owner and can remove us at any time.

Will the replies sound generic?

No. Each reply is written for that specific review, in the tone you choose, and a person reads it before it is posted.

What happens with negative reviews?

We reply calmly, never argue, and invite the customer to contact you directly. If a review raises something serious, such as safety or a legal issue, we check with you before anything is posted.
